Holiline

Holiline’s aim is to ensure that you do not forget about a friend’s birthday, an important holiday, or another significant event. By default, it takes over the taskbar to remind you about important events that are coming up. You can create and view all upcoming events in the Events Editor window and, if you don’t like Holiline taking over your taskbar, form the Settings menu you can change the panel position – put the panel above the taskbar or at the top of the desktop.

To get started with it, you must first download a 7.5MB archive. Extract the executable inside it, run it, and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through the installation process. You can install the application on just about any edition of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.

As mentioned above, Holiline’s default behavior is to display its panel on top of the Windows taskbar. It displays info about upcoming events and notifications about important events on this panel. From the Settings Menu, the Appearance submenu, you can change it so the Holiline panel is displayed right above the taskbar or at the top of your desktop.

Holiline can notify you about important events only if you take the time to create them. You can do this with ease from the Events editor that you can access by right clicking the Holiline panel. You can set up reminders for birthdays, wedding days, holidays, and custom events. All the events you create are highlighted on the calendar in Calendar View and presented as a list in Table View.

Holiline is a free application. The developer does not ask for any monetary compensation for coming up with and providing you with the Holiline application.
